A shield volcano, The Foundry of Vorn stands at 1,810 above sea level at its peak. Due to the type of volcano, this is a gradual incline, and its width takes up a large amount of space. So gradual is this incline that the average degree of the slope is only 3 degrees, with a variation of 2 degrees in certain areas. Being dormant, the area does have plant life, so it is not always immediately obvious that the ground being stood on is a volcano if one doesn't know what to look for.
