Geography

This is a mountainous island, now covered in a forest tended by a treant named Ironwillow and a community of centaurs who care for it.

There is only one living thing on this island now, and that is the dragon that made its home here so many years ago.

History

After the death of Dremrogaar, the sapling treant Ironwillow was called to the Isle of Soot to bring life to it once more. The original centaurs travelled with him, and helped him regain the land that Dremrogaar had spoilt. That tradition continues, and Thurgand Island is now a thriving forest, peaceful and full of life. When the world had begun to realize that Dremrogaar wasn't assaulting ships in the region anymore, many treasure seekers went to find his hoard, and few returned, those that did said they did not find an island of soot, but an island of verdant woods and peace. The name slowly changed to Thurgan Island, and the ancient hoard of Dremrogaar faded from memory.
