Valley of the Lost

Geography

To the trained eye this "valley" resembles more of an old impact zone, a partially buried shell like structure juts out of the ground on the far end, a singular hole about twenty feet up the front of the shell. The terrain around this area is too cold to support tree life, and as such has remained rocky, snowy, and icy since the original incident.

History

The story goes that people have been disappearing into this valley for decades. One time in particular was nearly an entire tribe of Ursine peoples who went in searching for fellow members of their tribe, and only one came back out again. He told a wild tale of experimentation and powerful magic, doing all he could to flee the area. Few who venture in ever came back out, hence why the locals call this place the Valley of the Lost.
