Luna Moonflower
The Knowing Hand is an elite group of people who have all been oppressed by wealthy leaders of different lands. Their ruler is a dangerous and powerful man named Lorcan . This group wants to change the world, and not for the better. They want to see empires fall and kingdoms burn and for them to rise from the ashes and crawl their way out of a sea of blood to rule the new world.
They are responsible for the deaths of countless leaders, causing nations, countries, and realms to disappear without a trace as though they didn’t exist. Most don’t believe they exist, they are nothing more than a myth. Luna was born into this lifestyle, her parents were skilled assassins and criminals. She had a sister and two brothers, and they were all trained together and helped this skilled group destroy the lives of others.
As she grew, Sitara knew how wrong she could be. She witnessed the throats of children being slit to “prove a point”. The images of eyes being gouged out, fire tearing apart homes, and poison making someone bleed from the inside out were all seared within her mind. She had to stop it, so she tried to convince the group that there had to be a different way, but they didn’t listen. She spoke to her family, explaining that she had to get out and she couldn’t do it anymore, but they didn’t listen.
Having eyes everywhere, Lorcan knew of Sitara’s plans to leave and captured her so she wouldn’t be able to tell the world of The Knowing Hand. Sitara’s family heard of her capture and knew they had to free her. They attempted to do so, but Sitara’s siblings were murdered, their heads rolling across the floor. Her parents knew they wouldn’t be able to hurt Lorcan, let alone kill him, so with their dying breath, they performed a spell that had long since been forgotten. A spell that dragged Lorcan’s soul from his body and trapped it in a ruby. It all seemed well, but instead of this ruby falling through a portal and into the burning inferno of Hell, it was painfully embedded into Lunas forehead. This pain forced her to pass out.
Luna woke up with a massive headache, her eyes wandering to see the lifeless bodies of her loved ones sprawled out across the floor. She heard a voice too, Lorcan's voice, and even later discovered she had some of his powers.
Luna ran, she was hunted for what happened but somehow was never caught. Lorcan’s voice is always in her head, telling her what to do, screaming at her, and saying terrifying things as he describes what he is going to do once he gets out. When Luna is stressed or emotional and loses her iron grip on her own soul, there's a chance that Lorcan can take control of her body.
She is a wanted fugitive in many areas of the world, due to the terrible things Lorcan has made her do as he tries to finish what he has started. Sometimes when he talks, she can't help but respond out loud to him due to that she always receives weird looks like she is crazy. The knowing hand continues to hunt her to this day.
Luna mediates and drinks a lot of Lilac tea to keep control of her mind and grow ever stronger. She has a Bengal cat named Teekle who is her informant. Teekle is a spiritual summon from another realm and typically hovers by Luna's side, although he does like others as well. He always stays with her, walking close to her or riding on her shoulders, unless she tells him to go off on some sort of mission.
Despite all of this, Luna is very kind and caring. Friends can tend to think she is bipolar due to Lorcan messing with her mind, and how swiftly he can take over. When in control, Lorcan will deny anything. trying to take over.
