Caldera Yeni

Within the kingdom of Varum lies a massive caldera above a semi-active volcanic system. It is believed to have been created during the Midwinter Fulmination, and may have even been the primary epicentre of the disaster. Historical evidence of this region from that period is almost non-existent: the caldera itself is nearly two days' travel from one side to the other and anything that may have existed there previously has been eradicated. In its centre is a mound that sources regular tremors, and minor eruptions on rare occasions. Around it is build a temple that hosts the Oracle of Yeni. It is an important religious centre to the Creed and to the kingdom.
