Elf

The elves in Cael are thought by some to be immortal, and that is not far from the truth. Some individuals are thought to be older than written history. While not xenophobic or typically hostile towards outsiders, they are incredibly reclusive and prefer to keep themselves at a polite distance from other races. That said, no small number of half-elves have come about throughout the ages. There are rumours of some sort of dangerous affliction affecting the fair folk, which may be the reason for their withdrawal from the rest of the world.
