Halfling

The singsong language of the smallfolk isn't spoken much outside of their own homes and communities, and is written even less (using the script of the Common tongue.) This isn't out of malice; the most adaptable and affable of peoples simply tend to listen more than they speak when they're around the bigfolk, and learn the local dialects to better integrate themselves.
