Kichian

The Kichian are neither good nor evil. But they are desperate, with their own part of Realmspace on the verge of collapse and them barely managing to keep it going by stealing the psionic energies from other planes. They are very intelligent and evolved. They primarily use a mix of tech and magic . They have an entire caste of powerful psionics dedicated to keeping their world stable after a nearby star collapsed into a black hole. The Kichian are keeping their realm alive through sheer willpower. Being highly skilled and strong telepaths and telekinetics, communication with others species would not be a problem except for the fact that they refuse to do so. These aliens just want to save their own world and they will stop at nothing to achieve this, including destroying other worlds. Obviously most if not all people from Ikkaril are strongly opposed to their world being destroyed.
In a world where psionic magics have ruled for eons, they evolved to take advantage of that fact. They have slick elongated skulls and no eyes or hair for that matter. They have four ridges going from the base of the nostrils They communicate using hisses, clicks and thrills but mostly telepathically in a language that is far more harmonious that their physiology allows – and that language could be spoken by most sentient creatures of Ikkaril but they always refuse to communicate with their ‘slaves’. They have a caste system and social mobility is near inexistent in their primary culture – though some sub-cultures that may seek to solve their world’s problem through non-violent means have tried to do away with this. They have long been united under their God Emperor and they live to serve him and his family. It is said that he does not die, he chooses a body from a newborn relative and ‘hops’ inside.
