Lycanthropy

Some scholars believe that Malar, god of the hunt, is responsible for lycanthropy. Mazfroth disagrees with this theory on the basis tha tnot all lycantrhopes are evil as Malar is. Werebears are an example of lycanthropes that are usually good.
A lycanthrope also known as a werebeast, weretype, or nightwalker, was an individual who possessed the condition of lycanthropy.
