Cordyceps

This sword was found rusting in a field in Nid. How it came to rest in that tiny hamlet is a mystery. Micah, a local farmhand, was its final owner. The young boy was convinced of the weapon’s legendary status and has set out on a quest to locate the accompanying set of armor. Ultimately, the sword’s malign influence possessed Micah’s body and, for a time, terrorized the streets of Jarrow.
Cordyceps formerly belonged to the hero Charles Gilbratore. Chari Cross attempted to remove whatever curse was upon the sword, only to discover the object possessed some level of sentience. In time, the Dragon Punchers, with help from Iriswood University, purged the sword of the dark entity and shattered the blade.
