Lliira is a peace-loving, carefree god who has inspired poets, songwriters, and any who revel in the experience and wonderment of a life lived gaily and free. Lliira is the ecstasy and celebration of love in all forms. She cannot abide violence and ill-feeling, believing most slights are not worth worrying about, and that few troubles are important enough. During the First Era she strove to keep up the morale of her fellow divine. The god recognized the importance of hope, as much as strength of arms, on the path to victory.
Followers of Lliira are often called upon to plan festivals and other joyous occasions. All adherents are good-hearted, and value revelry above all else. The most holy Lliiran celebrations begin with Swords Cast Down, a ritual in which two or more weapons are cast to the ground and buried under a mound of fresh flowers.
