Malcolm’s shrewd hand guided a network of independent cells in the dissemination of plague-bearing orbs across Rialdon. The gentleman did not suffer fools, nor did he tolerate failure in his subordinates. Those who followed him did so out of equal parts awe, fear, and respect. Malcolm, in turn, reported to the mysterious and illusive Goldfinch, though at the time of his death he was ill-favored due to circumstances surrounding the recovery of Goldendale.
The powerful sorcerer made his base of operations in an underground fort in the Wyrmwood forest outside of Jarrow. He was beheaded by Micah of Nid during a pitched battle within the complex.
