Blade of an Extraplanar Assassin

Persistence is truly a blade like none other. Made of an unknown, crystalline substance, it never requires sharpening and will never grow dull. The sword’s thin, faintly curved cross-guard, in the shape of a gilded flame, gives the blade the perfect weight balance. This is clearly a weapon not meant to be wielded by a commoner. A fairly large pommel is adorned by a deep red gem that seems to sparkle with an inner light.
Once belonging to the efreet assassin, Ditaldiih, it is said the blade allowed its bearer to pursue their quarry with a terrifying, almost indomitable determination. According to legend, the efreet never left a contract unfulfilled while wielding this fabled blade.
