Session 115: Gifts & Groundwork

"Don't worry. Nobody can make me better"

General Summary

The party followed the eladrin to the heart of the druid grove.  They were met by a scene of devastation.  The forest had been put to the torch, presumably by Jaskaran's lackeys, and the heartwood grove had been all but destroyed.  The Circle thanked the Dragon Punchers for their intervention on behalf of one of their members, and for the return of the precious heartwood.  They gifted the group with an amulet infused with the ability to speak to the creatures of the forest.  The party tried to contain their disappointment as they bid farewell and returned to Mas'Uld.   Back in the Khardish capitol, the group prepared for the ritual to pull Chari out of the leyline and anchor her within the puppet Tabitha Burke had modified.  Mani held a frank conversation with her brother, expressing her concerns should Bartleby take on the task.   The time finally arrived for Filven Luckbell to hold up his end of the bargain.  Jinn took his place within the magic circle the wizard had inscribed.  The prince took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and prepared to find his friend.
