Session 124: Singed & Sieged

General Summary

The party made their way through the concealed passage. The corridor ended in a large, heavy door, which Chari attempted to break down with limited success. Inside, she came across what appeared to be living quarters and a table set for a meal. However, the group reconvened in the hallway before she was able to explore further. Tipped off by odd differences in temperature and air currents, the party investigated and found a false wall to a balcony overlooking the main hall.
Seizing the opportunity, the group used Odallie, Shan, and Osdra to launch an ambush on the unsuspecting cultists. The noise, however, alerted not only several of Jaskaran's minions, but the dragon himself.
A brief skirmish ensued. Jaskaran conjured a blinding storm of ash from within the hall. The Dragon Punchers recognized their tactical disadvantage and made to retreat deeper into the lair.  In an act of extremely foolish bravery, Chari used herself as bait to distract Jaskaran and give her friends time to escape.
