Session 156: Basins & Barter

General Summary

While Chari and Al’ethera Nemetsk-Daywind were busy showing off their skills the rogue uncovered a hidden ruin under the snow.  The duo collected Micah, Jinn, and a few of the Hellsquad and went exploring.  Bart elected to stay behind with the rest of the group to keep an eye on things.
Upon entering, the group heard a deep tolling of bells. The trap guarding the entrance had been set off and the denizens inside, if there were any, almost assuredly knew someone had arrived.  The rooms and corridors were filled with old statues, some of whom had been destroyed by time and foliage.  Jinn made short work of any surviving locks, though that decision soon revealed itself to be a double-edged sword.  Several of the rooms were trapped, including one which caused Micah to turn on his companions with murderous intent.  In another instance Jinn, upon taking radiant damage, found himself in excrutiating pain from Beshaba screaming in his head.
Despite their numbers, the group soon regretted leaving their paladin behind.
