"That's for killing my best friend"

General Summary

In the morning the Dragon Punchers escorted Ocklyn Seith and the remaining enclave survivors out of the city.  Back at the farmhouse the group set up Posy, Copper, and their fellow refugees in the barn.  Ocklyn joined the group in the makeshift situation room in the main farmhouse.
The Dragon Punchers needed a way to get the refugees from Ilester out of the city. Camped in the fields the groups were sitting ducks for the fagine and other abominations, but the trek to the nearest civilization would be long and taxing, and likely more than most could endure. After thoroughly debating the subject, the group devised a plan to call in all their favors, calling upon the Council of Voices, Iriswood University, and the Knights Triumphant. Refugees would be sent to the University under Adva Sunan's care. The Council and Knights Triumphant would be able to provide much-needed military support to stage search and rescue missions and dispatch the dark forces mustered within the city.
However, the key part of this plan hinged on a very particular set of circumstances. The Dragon Punchers argued back and forth at length. Knowing what needed to be done, Jinn slit his own throat in the kitchen of the farmhouse, to the horror of everyone around him. The Dragon Punchers waited with bated breath. A moment passed, then two. Bart leapt into action as Jinn's final breath escaped him. The paladin quickly brought his friend back to life, just in time to escape the notice of a frantic Mani Mara'hid, summoned to the location by her brother's mortal peril.
When the princess realized what Jinn had done she was livid. Chari, equally upset, decked the prince as well.
