General Summary

The chilly morning found the group still wondering where Micah and Osdra might be found. The meeting at the palace, however, could not wait. Upon their arrival at Castle Stanimir, Chamberlain Brightsun ushered the group into her office where Sir Bartleby explained the dire nature of their visit. With this news, the chamberlain sought out Leontina Parvoni, Jusiciar of the Realm. Assured that neither woman was working with the Ushers of Seudihr , the group set about a plan of action to capture Oneithia upon her return to the city.
Establishing the security of the nobility would take some time. Of more concern to the Dragon Punchers, however, was that Jinn’s true identity was already well-known in the palace and rumor of his visit had spread. Ayanda staged a high-profile tour and provided the prince with means to very publicly leave the city, allowing him to return in disguise at his convenience.
Outside the city walls the rogue reconnoitered with Bart and Chari. The pair had discovered strange tokens placed in scarecrows had caused them to animate and attack. Still more concerning was the worsening state of the Merchevan crops. A local farmer indicated the trouble began several years ago, and had resulted in ever worsening harvests. Upon further investigation, Chari determined that a strange arcane energy was leaching into a nearby well. The source, however, was further underground.
The group ventured into the nearby forest hoping for a lead.
