Session 97: Introductions & Incineration

"If you're uncomfortable killing people I can do it for you."

General Summary

Oneithia attempted to ambush the Dragon Punchers in the streets of Merchevo.  Her plan backfired, however, when the group was joined by an elderly wizard who helped the group quickly subdue her.  Inside Osdra's mansion they attempted to interrogate Velia's agent.  The group got little out of her, however, before an ill-fated attempt at escape resulted in a snapped neck at the bottom of a flight of stairs.
The stranger who helped them introduced himself as Cornelius Shaw.  The wizard was a member of a dying order of mage hunters.  He believed his daughter, Dena, had been corrupted by Velia.  The Dragon Punchers gently explained that Dena, known to them as The Goldfinch, was dead.
To provide him some closure, the group invited him to join them in their hunt for the green dragon.  While it would not bring his daughter back, it would allow him to avenge her.
