B.A.R.K. or simply BARK as it is called by most, is a worldwide operating organisation thats is funded by governments, private investors, corporations (private held and public held) and the public in general to investigate, respond and secure any anomaly that is encountered.

Structure

The organsiation has a military foundation as structure.
There is one leader (mostly a figurehead for the outside world). He is supported by three chiefs (called the triumvirate) a stipulated by the benefactor.
Three voices never can get an undecided vote. If the triumvirate is unable to come to a vote, its up to the leader to handle it.

Culture

The organisation inner culture is very open and specific. Everyone in the organisation is tested and requested to write the truth in reports and keep objective. Telling the truth about events, feelings and emotions during the mission is important to the benefactor. Events can alter a persons view an therefore a persons belief, faith and honesty and dignity. Keeping track and record will hopefully bring any dissonance to light. This might prevent emotional breakdown in crucial tasks or prevent a security breach, theft or other similar action. Also tracking the behavior will teach us motivation or enable us to learn. another reason is to prevent blackmail.

There is no repercussion for writing the truth in a dossier.

The culture is not for everybody. One can only become an Investigative Agent after rigorous training and a test. 70% fails the training and 20% fails the test. Failing the training but not the test just means more training unless the teacher decides different. failing the test but not the training also opens a few options.

Public Agenda

The public agenda is to openly show their actions on places where strange things happen. They wortk with the same authority as the FBI and CIA in the U.S.A., have similar rights to an agency in the country of origin. A few countrys have rejected this and will prosecute any agent they will find inside their borders. Strange activity or phenomena described as: 'like a strange shimmering field' or 'rumours about monsters' (or worse) reports about normal animals turning into monsters. They need to find the source / cause , cure / fix / mend it, report about it. Also, Investigating legends,artifacts and relics to obtain more knowledge is also written in the organisasations manifesto.

History

The current organisation is not old. the current name is just a few decades old and was dormant in past 7 years. The people who actually run the organisation are doing so in name of the lawyers who clearly had documents and signed papers to hand over to the leaders.
