This material is extremely rare on earth. Its not native to earth. the 11 stones in the Stone Slab are the only ones ever found on earth.

about wavelengths and energy input / output efficiency

shorter wavelengths convey more energy then long ones there is a limit to how much energy can be concerted and what the difference is between the input and output. the stone can be overloaded and if so it will disperse a huge amount of energy in what would be equivalent of a small atomic bomb. how much energy and when it will do that is unknown and difficult to predict or calculate.

There are a few warning signs to keep an eye on. First, a humming sound will become louder and goes up in pitch when thresholds are reached. if the material is overloading there will be a bright light for several minutes, as the birght light begins to blink and pulsate there is only a little amount of time left to stop the overloading. The blue stone was considered a gift from the gods in ancient egypt. The high priests used it in their most holy ornaments. Mainly because it has a magnificient blue reflection and bright glowing effect in the darkness. Avg stones can be found in 3 ~ 18 cm thick veins, It is also possible to find 3 to 50 cm diameter rocks undergound.

Origin & Source

It's only oobtainable from the surface of Jupiter in our solarsystem. It exists outside our solarsystem, but unlike Jupiter, always in small quantities.
