Summary

Sarah is a realist, and doesn't believe in chances or higher powers. Throughout college, she was never sure she'd be able to get her way to medical school, so had a backup plan with a different degree path. If you can understand her, she seems polite and warm. If you don't understand her, she comes off as cold and indifferent.

Personality

Sarah hates the impossible and being unable to explain things. She is rational and realistic, but critical of a lot of things to a lot of people. She's normally polite and insightful about it, normally. Sarah tries to stay calm and rational, but when you get her angry, be prepared to be proven wrong, sometimes in the most venomous way possible. She can be friendly and warm when she wants to be, but her view of reality for what it is, is always at odds against people with the slightest sort of idealism, and just comes off as cold and indifferent at times.

Biography/ Info

Sarah was born in Tampa, Florida. Growing up, she always looked at the world in a different point of view. She never believed in any kind of idealism, and saw things for what they were, or at least what she thought they were. Her friends were always annoyed by her opinions, but always wanted to know what they were because they were so different from their's. She was the one to tell her friends how unrealistic the easter bunny is and how fake the idea of Santa is. She lost a lot of friends in elementary school when the class hamster died and she didn't like the idea of a "hamster heaven". Despite her viewpoints, her brother's idealism is the only idealism she ever entertained seriously.

All the way through her schooling, Sarah excelled in maths and sciences, but did poorly in literature classes. It wasn't that she didn't grasp the concept of literary ldeas, she just didn't like how idealistic most stories were. When she was older, she decided that she wanted to follow in her parent's footsteps and get a career in medicine. She recognized that she might not be able to cut it in medical school though, and had a backup plan for a career she wanted, getting a degree in biochemistry. In reality, she was literally near the top of her class, consistently performing better than a majority of her peers.

"Why do I want to go to med-school and become a doctor? Because I want to help people? I guess...I guess it's really because of the unforgiving realness of it all. It isn't your will to live keeping you alive. It's my skill and willingness to help that's keeping you alive. I just want to also say, believing in me isn't going to save you."

Sarah spends a lot of time reading biology books for her studies, but she also reads and watches a lot of manga and anime, despite most of them clashing with her own views. She can't stand the all-powerful-ness of some characters in anime, but loves the struggles of weaker characters and how they deal with situations. She occasionally plays videogames, and, while not much of a fan, playing games with Ryan is also how she became friends with Asha and how she came to know Juan.
