Pact of the Void

Synchordia Demonda, the Eyes in the Dark and sole ruling power within the Void itself has its sights set up ascending the throne of Godhood in Cairne, eager to take advantage of the vacuum left by the Divine Exodus. With every life clamed in servitude to it, the creature grows more and more powerful, a writing mass of destruction and evil waiting in the heart of the Blight to rise up and claim the world as its own. The power granted by this creature is arguably some of the most powerful and deadly of all the secret powers, but also comes at the highest price. The power to wield the Void and in some cases, even command the creatures that dwell there is a terrifying power indeed. 
In return for their boon, Synchordia demands no less than the spirit and soul of the Artist themselves, given in sacrifice at the end of their tenure to the Eyes in the Dark as an addendum to the ever growing power it already has achieved. Ever life given willingly to the creature manifests as a step closer to gaining the throne of the entire realm itself, and every life taken in its name by the Artist does as well.

This is a very dark path, and while not all that follow it are evil by nature, over time the power of the Void has a way of twisting even the purest of hearts. Artists with passions that fall far beyond the normal...those who have experienced great suffering, tragedy, or violence are called to. The mad and the lost souls of Cairne whose vision drives them to create as a need to escape and to mette out their anger and hatred so as not to be consumed by it are the most likely to hear the whispers from the Void calling to them as Synchordia attempts to lull them into its service.
