The Founding of Fingal's Rise

Construction beginning/end

In the years that followed the Aurorae Alliance, the elves encouraged and assisted the halflings in founding and building their first true home, the village of Fingal's Rise.

Supposedly named for one of the first Halfling community leader, Fingal's Rise was founded by a combined effort of both the halflings and the elves, with great care made to cater to their small stature and simple needs, built just within the borders of the forests of Shah. There they began to farm and settle, content to grow in the shade of the tree canopy and in the company of their neighbors and friends.   Fingal's Rise would go on to be well known throughout Cairne as a simple place where stranger's were always welcome, the food was always delicious, and where sickness and injury could always find relief under the care of their talented healers. This began the meager spread of their settlements around the borders of the forests with more villages breaking ground as needed in locations of significant events in the Halfling's overall history, such as Veddashire and Amberhearth.
