Commander Eli
Commander Eli, a former Imperial Star Marine, was hired by the Duke to lead and train the local planetary defense force. Eli is very strict and enforces the laws harshly. Any insubordination could lead to capital punishment / death. Eli takes this duty serious and will carry out any punishment himself so the soldiers understand his resolve. The current members of the defense force all see Eli as a hero and never had any serious offense. Most people under him will blindly follow his orders knowing Eli will not send men into an unwinnable situation. Eli is the only person known to have openly argued with the Duke and not be imprisoned.
Appearance: Eli normally always has on his recon jacket, and eye protection. 5' 8'' short brown hair.
Personality: Eli is moderate. He goes out of his way for his subordinates to make sure their home life is comfortable and families are taken care of. He works with the police and sheriff to make Caladan as pleasant as possible. Eli is normally seen on base and when he isn't, he is seen visiting families of current or former soldiers. When combat starts a different personality of Eli comes out, one more methodical and patient.
