Karcosa
The Karcosan Continent also known as "The Continent" and more simply Karcosa, now unknown to those that used to call it home is the largest known landmasses in the world of Calagon. To this day since the age of ancients it remains unpopulated by the civilisied realms and it's populace believe that there is no civilisation left within it's shores.
Attempts at exploring the interior of The Continent has often ended in catastrophe as the survivors that did come back were driven into insanity by the experience. That of which was explored remains to appear as vast jungles and snowy reaches of unexplored land. The wildlife of Karcosa is unlike that of the civilised realms wherein they're a lot more unique and bizzare - leaving even the most esteemed natural philosophers bewildered by their discovery. There is a colossal mountain that was spotted by one of the earlier expeditions that simply surveyed the outer coasts, Those few that came back from that trip were no longer seen again, theories circulate that Velorumites may have taken them to their citadel to reduce public chaos about their discoveries. Not much else is known about Karcosa other than it's been regarded as the most dangerous place in the world and people have been discouraged from making journeys into it's treacherous landscapes.
