Consequently the Acolytes are perceived as a totalitarian entity fueled by rumors of clandestine agents cloaked in green and dubious characters lurking within The Citadel, Tales of individuals forcibly removed from their homes further contribute to this perception. Despite this the Order prefers these rumors over the alternative narratives, where they are celebrated for their instrumental role in preventing the old Kingdom from descending into chaos.

Assets

The regulations enacted by the Order of Velorum required acolytes to don a green surcoat either beneath or atop their armor symbolizing their devotion to the God of Insight. Many if not all of the faithful within the Order are visually impaired thus opting for blindfolds, hoods, or specialized helmets that solely cover their eyes, or any combination thereof. While the Order mandates the perpetual wearing of the green Velorum surcoat, acolytes were granted autonomy in selecting their armor. Options ranged from lightweight leather attire with a lone shoulder pad to sturdier plate armor, accompanied by a variety of helmet choices.
