The Twin Stags

The Twin Stags were an ancient human tribe that was found within the forests of what is now known as Steelbrook, They were a secluded and zealous tribe known for their worship of the two-headed stag deity Solunos. Now mostly seperated and with no official base of operations they have spread out across the world teaching folks about their once venerated patron. A known splinter faction known as the Lone Stags is thought to be situated within the old dwarven city of Sarnath where they have made their permanent home.

Structure

Like many of the ancient human tribes, The Twin Stags had a Chieftain holding the highest leadership position within, Responsible for making overarching decisions, maintaining order, and representing the tribe in external affairs - Often ensuring that the tribe's values and customs are upheld.   Just below them is the Shaman who held a crucial role in guiding the tribe spiritually - Conducting rituals, Ceremonies, And offerings to the deity Solunos on a regular basis. They are usually just below the Chieftain in the hierarchy of the tribe and well respected in their role.   Unlike the other tribes the Twin Stags have an appointed Huntmaster who oversees all matters related to hunting and gathering within the tribe - Organising hunting parties, teaching hunting techniques to the younger members and ensuring that a sustainable approach to resource utilisation is always kept in practice. As the Twin Stags were a very religious tribe that worshipped the Stag God Solunos - This meant that the huntmaster had a vital role in which all hunts must be performed with the utmost respect of their prey.

History

The Twin Stags trace their origins back to ancient legends that spoke of Solunos a powerful deity embodied in the form of a two-headed stag, Revered as a divine being of immense wisdom and strength - Symbolising the instinctual and survival knowledge in which the Twin Stags prided themselves. According to the myth the two heads symbolised duality of moral the moral dilemma between the advancement of civilisation and the instinctual human drive to return to nature. Over time the legend of the Twin-Stag became ingrained in the tribe's culture, tales of it's existence and appearances rippling through the course of it's expansion, It served as a symbol of unity and harmony, Rituals and ceremonies were conducted to honor the deity seeking it's blessings for guidance in their time of need.   Through the ages the legacy of the two-headed stag deity has endured, shaping the tribe's identity and inspiring them to embody the principles of balance, harmony, and respect for the natural world as many more people joined the tribes in light of this Twin Stag deity's blessings of protection.
