Aoalwin leader of the chatti troops who have gone renegade and sailed to the North. Initially raids the north for food and shelter. After he is defeated he chooses to join the cornavi on the condition that they are given lands to settle in Caithness. They take women from Ireland that are settled in Caithness. The chatti convince talorc to fight a guerilla war against the Romans
