Nechtan

Nechtan talorcs father and chief of the cornavi tribe on the north coast. Well known and respected, has suffered from illness for some time. Favours talorc but is willing to follow tradition and pass his titles on to conall. Has chosen to send conall to the Romans for education. He dies in the first chapter after conall is sent south. Nechtan is ritually eaten by the tribes during a great feast where it is decided to mobilize the cornavi to go to war
