Humans, Northmen
Although the Peoples of the North are not as united as the Irimondians under King Aerric Ealdeheart may be, they are not a bunch of clustered tribes either. They are just a bit more rugged than their southern human cousins, which can be ascribed to the unforgiving environment they make their living in.
Northmen are jovial, honest and direct as to be almost blunt, uncomplaining and strong. They might not make great philosophers as they are quite set in their ways, but they have individuals among their ranks whose wisdom equals that of many other leaders in the realms. They are particularly strongly attuned to the land which, once again, is due to the harsh environments of the Northern Reaches. The Peoples of the North make great druids and rangers.
Their hair colour ranges from dark blond to red and their eyes are blue, green or grey.Naming Traditions

The matronly Mära are the female Advisors of the High Clans. Formerly mighty and brave warriors, these individuals are held in the highest regards among their people. No Chieftain dares ignore their judgement and advice as the wisdom and insight of the Mära, their experience and prudence as well as their shrewd intellects seek their equal. Chieftains of all genders are common among the Northmen, but Mära never come from the ranks of the clan leaders.
