Maharene Tibeshu

Maharene Tibeshu is the head of the Tibeshu Trade Empire alongside her brother Akil Tibeshu. She is an exceptionally beautiful woman and is equally as smart as she is manipulating. She does not take too much note of her family's affairs and is quite aware that the Empire runs without her assistance. House Tibeshu easily is one of the most wealthy houses on all of the continents and as such Maharene has not a care in the world.

She hosts the most lavish banquets on a weekly basis and entertains courtiers daily. She always gets what she wants and she knows it. Who she cannot sway by utilising her remarkable charm and beauty she will influence by threat or manipulation.
Even though her brother is instrumental in keeping the vast trade empire (a nation at that!) successfully working, Maharene's role should not be dismissed. Most diplomats and trade envoys visiting from other continents need to pass through Iastradore and a visit to a member of the leading family of the Usefari is not just recommended but an outright neccessity to establish successful trade relations. And there is no one better suited to receive and entertain guests than Maharene Tibeshu. She is not just physically beautiful, she has also honed her charm and wit to an extent that she would prevail, and most of the time dominate, on any social parquet. She is smart, cultured and, maybe surprisingly to some, quite knowledgeable in the workings of the empire. She should not be underestimated in any regard...


Maharene resides in a palace called Mahebta's Grove, a sprawling estate of alabaster-coloured spires and minarets that are so numerous and so delicately constructed that they seem to have an almost organic quality to them. Hence the name, Mahebta's Grove. Additionally, the outer walls are inlaid with golden veins of pure gold that can be seen glinting in the sunlight which adds to the exquisite appearance of Maharene's residence. Parts of the estate are even open to the public, the gardens in particular. However gracious a gesture that is, Maharene is seldomly seen in public.

When she appears though, either while hosting one of her soirees or on occasion leaving the palace, Maharene is always accompanied by three feline creatures. These onyx caracal-like entities exude an eery intelligence and they constantly prowl around Maharene, ever watchful. Their fur and features are streaked with continually shifting coils of gold which makes evident that these are no regular animals. In fact the three cats are mighty Djinn which have taken on these feline forms. Maharene has struck some kind of bargain with them and no one knows what she is able to offer these powerful entities in return for their service. And indeed they are only bound in contract, not in servitude.
