Session 10: Manor Madness Pt. 2 Report
General Summary
Picking back up in the haunted house the party began to look for clues or an exit. They noticed the body, butler, and cook had all vanished, and as they entered the ballroom they saw a ghostly gala of adventurers dancing to a haunting song. The butler reappeared before them explaining that everyone at dinner has been trapped in this cycle and will continue to be until the spirit of Madam Whiley was put to rest with the knowledge of her killer. Using the clues provided the party stepped through a portal in a mirror to confront the former lady of the home. After a brief conflict where she knocked Keegan out with a scream the party convinced her to listen to them as they believed they knew who murdered her. They pointed out the artist and once the ghost of Mr. Whiley confirmed that she was in fact the one that killed his daughter he drug her to the hells. Alil then attacked the party in her banshee form, and as they landed the final strike she faded back to her normal self to thank them before fading away.
With the curse broken the home around them began to fade as well, and the party found themselves standing in the wilderness on a bright sun-shining morning. There was no sign of a storm, and when they found the boat it was beached roughly 20-30 feet from the water.
As confusion settled in they left to find their way back to Onza.
