Aasimar
Aasimar are the opposite of tieflings and far less common. Born with a connection to the upper planes with celestial blood, Aasimar are often respected or even revered by the religious. Born to any number of ancestries, the celestial blood of the Aasimar, unlike that of tieflings, may not show itself for several generations at a time. Though celestially aligned, this does not mean that an aasimar will always be good. Just as angels can fall, so too can an aasimar “fall” to evil acts.
Aasimar are born in a number of ways. They could be born of a blessed bloodline, of a bloodline that once mated with a celestial, or the aasimar could bear the reincarnated soul of someone who lived among the celestial planes. To the people of Binordheim, the latter is known as an Einherjar, named for the warrior spirits that inhabit Valhalla. Physical traits of the Aasimar are far less pronounced than their fiendish counterparts, sometimes bearing markings of a previous life, pupiless eyes, a faint halo about their head and shoulders, or supernaturally pristine features.
