Gaddeholm
Government
Like the rest of the nordic clans, Gaddeholm and its surrounding territories is led by a jarl who answers to the king of Clan Drage. They govern their lands in accordance with the laws of Clan Drage and the will of Svafnir the Slumberer, patron spirit of the Drage.
Infrastructure
Svafnir's Pyre
In the center of Gaddeholm sits the monument built in all major Drage settlements, a shrine to Svafnir the Slumberer. The shrines to Svafnir are similar in design, but here it is built from the black, glassy stone of the area and carved with reliefs of mountains, green fire, and the figure of an enormous lindworm dragon. The interior is simple in design, but decorated with detailed carvings created by the dragon priests and their grim disciples. The center of the one room temple is dominated by an ever-burning green flame where citizens of Clan Drage make their typical sacrifices to Svafnir outside the greater sacrifices each solstice.Longhouse
As with a typical major settlement in Nordic lands, the jarl's hall or longhouse is a place where meetings are had, feasts are eaten, and judgements are made. Jarl Haming's hall is no different, decorated with spoils from raids, hunts, and wars. The Ring
The Ring is part of a staple of Nordic culture and one very close to the heart of Clan Drage: fighting. Holmgangs, duels, and other performances are held in the recessed earth.Dragonblood Houses
Dragonblood houses are where the Drekæt reside. They act as their residence and barracks and are located near the regular barracks and the Jarl's longhouse.Raider Lodges
A few smaller longhouses - acting mostly as a meeting area with a few cabins - have been built for some lesser raider groups in the city, they are located near the various docks that dot the shoreline of Gaddeholm. Many are open to regular visitors, some are less welcoming.Darkthorn Bellower Longhouse
Welcoming to most, but rowdy. Home of the Darkthorn Bellowers raiders.Guilds and Factions

Geography
The peninsula that the majority of this city sits on is mostly barren of plant life. Instead, the ground is a mixture of stone and black glass that juts up in large spires around the peninsula like a natural phalanx.
