Worldweavers
The Worldweavers are a guild of bards and skalds that exists as both a school and a network of information gatherers and tellers of tales from across the land and beyond.
Members
Members of the Worldweavers are usually bards and skalds, or become one, but others also attend the school such as aspiring runeshapers looking for a start, academics, noble children, and those who have been recruited for their skill. Joining the Worldweavers College costs a fee to do so and in order to become a part of the organization after graduation takes a display of high skill or reputation among the current members. Those who are a part of the organization are still viewed as students of the college and often are as they return to take classes between travels and consolidate their knowledge gathered.Identification
The Worldweavers do not wear special colors or uniforms, but they do wear brooches displaying their attachment to the school and expanded organization, though some choose not to wear theirs as openly as others in certain circumstances.Structure
The organization of the Worldweavers is much like a school. It is led by a headmaster known as the Leiðari or "maestro" and a number of senior members who act as teachers and custodians of the guild. Students of the Worldweavers College have the option upon graduating to join the ranks of the college and travel the land as gatherers and speakers of stories.
Culture
The Worldweavers were created by a joint effort between the Mun and Rev and as such hold similar values to both. As several of their number travel with Muninn traders, they often pick up a very open-minded attitude towards all people and the school tends to support that ideal in its teachings. In addition, they believe that their work, though necessary, should not be given away without compensation.
Graduates of the Worldweavers have been taught that it is important to create connections within the world and thus rarely work against any organization unless they see a benefit for themselves or their guild in doing so. It also helps to have those who are willing to work with them as they travel rather than travelling alone, though they have been known to do both.
Though they don't work against groups purposefully, it is also not in their nature to withhold information that might be damaging to another group unless such information might benefit themselves or their guild in the future. The Worldweavers are not against either bribes or blackmail if it is beneficial enough, though they are not blatant in their spreading of information either. After all, dangerous information is more powerful when withheld.
Finally, every story must have a spark to it if it is worth telling. Worldweavers who travel the world often embellish tales that they hear, whether from their current location or from fellow Weavers who they communicate with.

Public Agenda
The Worldweavers' agenda consists of the gathering of information, whether current events or distant histories, and the spreading of such to those who it might benefit. They are almost always present at battles and other important events. They are also often purposefully invited to feasts and important events by jarls, nobles and even konungur (kings and queens) so that they may tell their tales and write the events for later tales. For this purpose they are often treated well with the intent to ensure the best version of the stories they could tell of their host's generosity and greatness.
Assets
While not public with their holdings, the Worldweavers do charge for their schooling and for many of their services and thus it is believed that the guild itself is rather wealthy and holds more than a few items of historical or valuable nature from its past trade with various families and clans. But gold and platinum aside, the most valuable thing that they are believed to hold is knowledge. Knowledge of people, events, items, and more that they hold to use when it best suits them. Some see this act as dishonorable but many overlook it for the benefits working with such a prestigious and wide-reaching guild gives.
History
The Worldweavers were created through a joint effort by Clan Muninn, who favors knowledge and influence, and Clan Rev, who favors fame and glory. It was set up along the southern shores of Skygge Hul, bordering Muninn lands ((City to be determined)). Since its inception it has grown to become an integral part of Nordic society as news has ever been traded through the voices and songs of bards. With the mobility of Muninn ships and Rev resources, they have grown to spread across all of Binordheim.
