Miner's Folly

Miner's Folly is a deadly and contagious condition caused by the Thorian crystal, originally found only deep within the Mountains in Northern Arthelion, but has along with the crystals themselves been spread throughout the world.

Transmission & Vectors

The affliction is spread with any contact to a Thorian Crystal, however the speed of the affliction varies from case to case, with no remarkable pattern, it is suspected to be depending on the density of the crystals root-like system.

Symptoms

The point of contact will begin to loose sense of touch and with further time a crystal similear to the original source will begin spreading from the area.

Treatment

at early signs of the affliction, a greater restoration can clear the individual of it, likewise can a early amputation of the afflicted area help stop the spread. Treatment is dangerous as touching afflicted tissue can cause it to spread, just like the source did.
