The Royal Families of The Solar Imperium

The Royal families are 12 family lines that the Sun Emperor personally Selects from the populace of his empire. Though primarily consisting of noble families, it isnt unheard that the emperor finds some from the middle or even lower class and takes as a bride. This is seen as a great honor for the family as they are from that member and onwards by law are made nobles aswell, the closest family of the selected bride, Parents, siblings and such are even given the honorific title aswell, alas without most of the benefits.
