Cybertech
Cybertech (also Cybertechnology or Cyberware) is a form of cybernetic improvement of the body. Cybertech enhancement replaces natural body matter with artificial components that are usually more powerful and equipped with various gadgets.
In recent years, improvements have become so extreme and widespread, especially among soldiers and policemen, that some have died of the shock caused by cybertech.
The latest findings from renowned magic researchers suggest that the use of cyberware weakens the user's soul and ultimately extinguishes it completely as soon as there is not enough natural material left.
Usage
Today Cybertech is widespread, especially among corporate troops, police forces and within the military. But even among the Faceless, there is always someone who has a certain amount of cybertech.
The cybernetic improvements achieved in this way are intended for fighting or optimizing certain parts of the body. Sometimes, however, cybernetic limbs are also used to replace lost limbs.
Pricing
The price for such improvements depends on the model and the quality of the product and may vary significantly depending on where the implant is placed. On the Black Market there is a huge supply of used Cybertech, mostly from the dead.
How to get it
The most legal way to use Cybertech is to contact a licensed cyber clinic. Most clinics of this kind are located in San Francisco, but there are also licensed clinics in other cities.
If you want to avoid the formalities and prices associated with treatment in an official clinic, you can contact a street clinic or a non-licensed doctor. However, the work there is usually not as quality as it would be in a clinic.
Maintenance
Unlike Biotech, Cybertech requires regular maintenance from someone who is anatomically as well versed as technically. The mechanics of the Cybertech have to be checked and - if necessary - replaced. In the best case, poorly functioning Cybertech simply fails, in the worst case, it causes permanent damage to the user's body.
Legality
Access to Cybertech is limited in most cases or requires a corresponding license. Dangerous implants, such as Spurs, are generally forbidden, even though companies earn well selling them.
