Doldune

Doldune is simple the largest forest in existence, it's vastness is indescribable though it is 500 miles across. The sheer scale of it makes exploring it difficult for most humans who grew up outside it. What is known though after years of exploring it and making the path through it from Rolant to Praxus is that a large population of elves call it home. These elves have allowed others within it and though they aren't necessarily on friendly terms with others and keep mostly to themselves. What is known about the forest is that it's always been here, it has mountains and rivers that flow through it. As well as places where the Feywild seem to merge with the real world the most prevalent of these are The Enchanted Woods a section of the forest the road has to go through where weird and wonderful things can happen and parties can disappear. There are some mountains that can be seen by people who travel on this road though not many save the elves have scaled them. It's very wild and full of dangerous creatures that include beasts, goblins and fey.  Notable settlements along the road are Andelous , a wood cutting village towards the Praxus side. Fallow Monastery which was made by the elves and adopted by others that honours Chauntea, Silvanus, Malar and Corellon Larethian. The Enchanting Fairy , the last or first inn you get to before or coming out of the Enchanting Woods, a place to rest in safety. Longsteer a Hunting lodge and village that a lot of rich people like to visit for the thrill of the hunt. Stinton is similar to Andelous as it's a woodcutting camp closer to the Rolant edge.
