Aneya of the Nikito

The Nikito were colourful birds who were responsible for teaching people about song, dance, and art. One of them in particular, known as Aneya, was depicted as a beautiful bird woman who appeared to artists as a muse. Aneya is also associated with motivations based on lust and desire. The Nikito are also said to have taught people writing, using their feathers as the first pens.
