Maeara

Depicted as a witch or a crone, Maeara is associated with misfortune, superstition, disease, monster attacks, and bad weather. She is not always seen as evil, but rather as a neutral force of nature who acts to punish people for bad behaviour and unpreparedness. It is said you can avoid tragedy by appeasing her with sacrifices, and she will even gift you with the ability to foretell coming misfortunes.
