Raijun - Discipline

General Summary

When Iroh raised his hand to Raijun and the scroll's power corrupted and withered away his hand, Raijun's mind flashed for a brief moment to the past. You would see a young Raijun, now 10 years of age, training with Iroh in the Bokken Chambers, covered in bruises as he desperately attempts to swing at Iroh, chaining multiple attacks with no success as he is effortlessly parried and counter struck over and over, despite his tremendous speed.
“You may have the talent little Raijun, but you lack discipline. Your strikes are wild parries, reckless parries and thwack and your strategy is non existent” third parry, with a resounding counter strike that lays Raijun out
“If you truly want to survive, you will take your training more seriously, and build the discipline, otherwise you will crumble. You cannot let your emotions or desires sway you, focus on the mission at all times.”
gives him a sinister whack for good measure, right in the worst spot, a precision “scooter to the shin” strike to the tibia as he walks away
“Now keep up, we have to go join the other teams for the youth exercises today”
As he walks away you catch the formation of a small smirk as he watches Raijun get up and limp over, and with a high enough insight, you could tell that he was proud of Raijun for continuing to get up to try again.
