Significance

The Wizard's College of Naporia was built around a shrine for the Sceptre. They are constantly studying the staff and words that it's speakers, or Muad'in tell to the archmages.
On 16 Aldeber 475 IC, the staff appeared to lose its power and fell to the ground. It was given to Kellyn Tethras as a gift by the new archmage of the college Silby Dawes .

5 feet from base to top of the staff, a large red gem the size of a grapefruit sits on top.

Appears to be made of gold. Stone appears to be a giant ruby, but is actually a focusing crystal.
