Population Migration / Travel
Pilgrims, refugees, and opportunists flee the lands affected by the Sundering, making their way across the Ochre Desert towards more first lands to the East.
After the destruction of the Sundering, the livelihoods of many were destroyed beyond repair. Humans from the towns of Port Polaron, Carrion, and others fled in long, winding trains of wagons, livestock, and people into the desert wastes of the former Ochre King's dominion. Traders had spoken of fertile lands to the East, and these poor but hopeful people sought out new life. Over 10000 humans made the trek, and almost half died on the journey. When they arrived, the settled in lands within the Ruby Mountains and the fertile delta of the Icewash River, and began settling three towns that would become the Three Hearths.
