Pocketed Polecat
An enormous ferret, the size of two grown men when it stands erect.
These guys love to play and have an attention span that ranges from goldfish (when they are not interested in something) to ADHD levels of hyper-focus (if you involve food they want).
Origin
Dr. Finn Roth experimented with creating pack animals and mounts that could handle any territory. While he loves his creation, he wonders sometimes if using a wild and wily ferret as a base gene for an animal larger than himself was a smart idea. Especially since a group of them escaped.Anaotmy and Physiology
Pocketed Polecats are long and thin, but strong. They have powerful locking jaws and once they decide to latch on to something, they don't let go until what they want to eat is dead or squeals like a dying pig. While no one has died from the bite of these giant ferrets, keepers wear thick leather armor until the ferret bonds with them. The ferrets will be friendly and exuberant to all they don't consider a threat. But will only bond with their keeper.Diet
Obligate carnivore. Dr. Roth has experimented with making extra large pigeons for the pocketed ferrets. But his coworkers put the kibosh to that and suggested the group raise turkeys for the ferrets to hunt.
