Incara

Incara is the capital of Arenno, and is famous for the girara light, which is the main lighting source of many homes around the world.

Industry & Trade

Although there are many different trades and guilds in Incara, the cities main source of income is through the giara light, which is made exclusively in the city. The stone is brought down from the part of the Narog Mountains that are in Arenno, constructed in Incara, and exported to countries all over the world. There are six giara light factories in the city, two carve and decorate the stone into the light's signature shape, two carve and decorate the obsidian base, and two are in charge of constructing and packaging the lights.

Tourism

Incara is the home of Gottfrey Sokol, the inventor of the giara light, a revolution in home lighting. His home, workshop, and store are some of the city's largest tourist sites. The house is a large estate, that used to be in the country outside the city but has since been enveloped by it. Although most of the grounds have been sold and developed Sokol's favorite garden has been preserved with the rest of the house. His workshop was in the old city center. His workshop was the place where he experimented to discover the best way to cut and shape the girara and what the best stand is. All three of these historical sites are owned by the city and are part of their Arnorian Heritage program. These sites all use reenactors along with historians to keep the sites as historically accurate and tourist-friendly as possible.
Giara lights are still made in Incara and one of the factories has been updated to allow tourists to learn about the history of how the light was made and is being made.

Geography

Incara sits where a tributary and the Samara river meet. The city was built between the river and tributary but as the city has grown it has expanded beyond the waters' meeting and the rivers have become major aspects of the city. On a clear day, the Narog Mountains can be seen from the city. The area around the city is quite hilly.
