Caronar

The world of Caronar, in Elvish, 'Beneath the crown of the sun', is an ancient world which has experienced much upheaval over the course of its history. It is a place of cycles, and even that which may seem eternal may pass away, and be forgotten for untold eons. Even the laws of magic and of nature and the gods themselves may rise and fall in the eternal courses of time.   Great heroes and villains stride forth, their works shining bright for a year, a millennium, or an epoch, before fading away again, and giving rise to new wonders never before seen. Even the most ancient of texts speak of times more ancient still, and the mysteries even they considered lost, and none can know the full measure of Caronar's history. Nonetheless, as boundless as the past may seem, the future is greater still. What wonders will the newest heroes encounter? What glories and what dooms await them?
