Carrisor is a fantasy world with politics, magic, and swordplay. This world is in a constant state of conflict, and of course it's also being invaded by dragons. The current rulers invaded this continent from the West about 900 years ago. But every corner of Carrisor has a pre-colonial identity which still exists under the surface of the colonizers’ culture. Some original races co-exist and even flourish in tandem with their colonial neighbors, though others have been displaced or destroyed. Meanwhile, in the south, a thousand-year old race of Dragons is waking up and spreading north. Refugees from the south are pushing slowly north, and all regions are feeling pressure from new forces, each already shredded by its own ancient rivalries. This northward migration forces many disputes into a tipping point, and as resources become scarce, the continent is about to erupt in a full-scale war. What a perfect setting for a card game!
