Tenleytown (Blue-Collar Residential)

These are the streets that raised me, the ones I grew up on. I've seen the good and the bad, the joys and sorrows of the streets. I try to do my little part to give back to the neighborhood but it's hard. You can never really tell if anything you do actually helps or not.
- Officer Richards, Precinct CCPD Officer
Tenleytown is a maze of narrow streets flanked by low rise apartments and tenements. The district is one of the hardest working in the city, but escaping Tenleytown is harder than it seems. With the loan sharks, rent, and threat of violence around every corner, life is tough for residents. But between the stress and worries, there is hope. The laughter of children float through windows and the grocer down the street hawks his fresh produce. Just because it can be difficult to stay afloat does not mean residents avoid enjoying life. At night though, the streets and back alleys seem oppressive and are stalked by gangs trying to keep their territory. Whatever you have to do to get by, right?

Points of Interest

Joe's Burgers and Stews

Joe's is a classic spot for Tenleytown residents. This 24/7 Diner is run by Josephine O'Connor, but only call her that if you want cold coffee for the rest of the week. Local hooligans and gangs use the diner as neutral ground, while locals consider it the best place to get a meal for miles. The food and coffee are definitely not great to be sure, but sometimes you just need something warm and filling at the end of a long day.

The Precinct Police Station

The Carver City Police Department has stations all across the city. There is only one in Tenleytown, colloquially known as The Fort. The Fort is constantly bustling with officers responding to calls, residents making reports, and criminals being locked away. The Fort's armory is renowned, able to outfit a small army for when CCPD needs to respond to something really major in Tenleytown. With any luck, we will never have to witness that event.

Morrison Park

Morrison Park is one of the largest public parks in Carver City. Spanning a mile on each side, the park is home to ponds, creeks, and wooded areas. However, Mythoi that enter the park know there is something strange with the land itself. Some powerful beings have been known to make their resident in the woods...
